Position Description
– Project Manager – Low Voltage provides overall project management for low voltage systems. Low Voltage work typically consists of providing support services for the planning and installation of Network, Telephony, VoIP systems, Closed-Circuit Television (CCTV), Access Control systems and premise wiring systems. The position is responsible for successful completion of projects that can consist of new or upgrades to existing Network, Telephony, VoIP systems, Closed-Circuit Television (CCTV), Access Control systems and premise wiring systems. The PM – Low Voltage will plan and oversee multiple low voltage projects for various company departments. In this position, the PM – Low Voltage will conduct sites surveys to gather and document information required for the planning and implementation of new or replacement low voltage systems. The PM – Low Voltage oversees technician and vendors on site, interact with clients, manage schedules and budgets, and delivers quality work within specifications.
Skills Required
Working with Network, Telephony, VoIP systems, Closed-Circuit Television (CCTV), Access Control systems, premise wiring systems, construction processes, budgets, and managing multiple large-scale projects simultaneously.
Experience Required
Minimum of (3) years of broad, extensive, and increasingly responsible Low Voltage Project Management experience planning, designing, and installing of Network, VoIP systems, Closed-Circuit Television (CCTV), Access Control systems and premise wiring systems.
Education Required
This classification requires the possession of a bachelor’s degree in an IT-related or Engineering field. Additional qualifying experience may be substituted for the required education on a year-for-year basis.
